Upgrade a Certificate from PAS 223 to ISO 22002-4

2016.03.11

The FSSC 22000 Board of Stakeholders (BoS) has decided on May 21, 2014 that it will no longer be permitted to use PAS 223 for FSSC 22000 certification after November 1, 2014

Starting point & Rationale

All PAS 223 certificates were requested to be updated until October 31, 2015. The FSSC database had to be updated accordingly.

Implications & Recommendations

To update the database, the CB must reduce the validity period of the ancient PAS 223 certificate, add a comment on the reasons for reducing validity in this ancient certificate, and issue a new ISO 22002-4 certificate.

For more details on how to manage this transition within the FSSC Database, see FSSC / ViaSyst common FAQ knowledge base.
