The Foundation for Food Safety Certification retains the ownership of the FSSC 22000 certification scheme and the copyright and the licence agreements for certification bodies.

Associated certification bodies are obliged to update their certificates data on the FSSC certificate database within 4 weeks after the delivery of the certificate. The certification bodies shall formally agree this with the certified organizations.
